We do not collect or store any personal information from users. The only data required for the extension to function is the OpenAI API key and the text you want to proofread.

• OpenAI API Key: You will be asked to provide your OpenAI API key, which is stored locally on your device and not transmitted to any external server by us. It is only used to access the OpenAI API to proofread your messages.
• Proofread Text: The text you proofread is sent directly to OpenAI via their API for processing and is not stored by the extension.

This extension uses the OpenAI API to provide proofreading services. Please note that by using this extension, you are also subject to OpenAI’s privacy policy, which can be found here.

We take data security seriously. Your OpenAI API key is stored locally in your browser and is not accessible to us or any third party. We do not collect or store any messages or texts that you proofread. All communication between the extension and OpenAI happens securely via HTTPS.

You have full control over your OpenAI API key, which you can update or remove at any time via the extension’s settings. If you choose to stop using the extension, you can easily revoke your API key from your OpenAI account.
